Job offer: Senior Project Manager

• 12 months contract
• Wellington based with 2 days’ Work from Home 
• $135 - $150ph + GST

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive banking experience to lead and deliver on a transformative initiative.

An ideal applicant will have the following skills:

• Proven expertise in Markets and FX and Wholesale Banking.
• Strong background in large-scale technology transformation projects.
• Demonstrated experience in governance at senior organizational levels.
• Ability to influence, build networks, and deliver value within a global context.
• Technical knowledge of core banking platforms, payments, risk and regulatory reporting, and banking products.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage relationships with global stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional influencing skills remotely and handling high levels of complexity.
• Provide governance support at senior levels, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee large-scale technology projects, ensuring seamless integration of banking platforms, channels, payments, and risk systems.
• Balance technical expertise with a sharp focus on enhancing customer and banker experience.
