Temp Data Analyst – Part Time

• Commencing as soon as possible for 12 months.
• Mix of analysis using Excel, checking of data, identifying errors and investigation of issues.
• 20 hours per week, work from home flexibility available once trained.
• $40.00 to $55.00 per hour depending on experience

This temporary role is working within a large Government agency located in the Wellington CBD.  They are looking for someone to help with analyst tasks within their finance team on a part time basis.  This role would suit someone who enjoys using their analytical skills, has strong knowledge of Excel and a genuine commitment to part time hours. 

You must be a New Zealand citizen as this role will require a security clearance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Gathering, analysing and maintaining accurate data from internal and external sources across system platforms.
• Maintain data integrity and improve system consistency.
• Liaising with external data providers and using appropriate tools to check/monitor electronic invoices.
• Contribute to the improvement of current processes and procedures.
• Formulating procedural manuals for other team members.

Skills and attributes required:

• Proven analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and fix problems.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Excel (above intermediate level).
• Cleaning and reporting on data from a variety of sources.
• SAP experience is an advantage however not essential.
