Job offer: Quality Manager

This well-established main contractor have been involved in several projects up to $200M including datacentres, schools and universities, hospitals and major commercial projects.

With major projects in the pipeline, they are looking for a Quality Manager with a depth of experience overseeing quality aspects across their portfolio of projects.

The role involves

• Developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols for construction projects.
• Leading and develop the Quality Engineers across the business. 
• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify any deficiencies.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to resolve quality-related issues.
• Managing and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, logs, and records.
• Training and educating construction personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Monitoring the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Ensuring all construction work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinating and document the testing and commissioning of building systems.
• Preparing and presenting quality reports to senior management and clients.

Key requires for this role involve

• Tertiary qualified in engineering or construction management
• At least 5- 10 years of experience gained with the commercial construction sector, particularly focused on the quality management of steel structures and concrete
• Strong knowledge of QA Processes and continuous improvements,
• Experience with performing onsite inspections and ensuring adherence to building codes
• Experience in creating and updating Quality Management plans
• Able to drive quality outcomes working across all internal project staff and external stakeholders
• Exceptional communication and systems skills

Remuneration: $140M - $165K pending experience.
