Question for Novartis New Zealand Limited

Entacaponehas dye. Wet pills from mouth and dribble after taking pills has stained carpet in 2 rooms. Is there some way of getting the stains out? I presume not as it is a dye.
Why do they need such permanent dark dye or in fact any dye? Kareen
PS I have a photo of one 20cm square of spotted carpet; one of 3 or so areas. No ability here to download photo.
