A prominent national main contractor with a huge depth of construction expertise and project delivery history and are now looking for a high performing Senior level QS. They are one of the most reputable commercial builders that have a solid pipeline of work. Projects span large multi residential, healthcare, mixed use, datacentres and complex vertical builds to over $300M.
They offer a well-structured working environment allowing growth with the role a mix of office and site based. They have a key project under construction that requires an additional Senior QS
Key components of this role involve:
- scheduling/estimating
- tender preparation and analysis
- bills of quantities
- cost management
- subcontractor management
- progress claims and assessing variations
As a background, you are an experienced commercial quantity surveyor of at least 10+ years coming from a main contractor with a relevant tertiary degree and with larger project exposure. You are practical, have an eye for detail, are adaptable and can confidently liaise across a range of stakeholders. The ability to negotiate and understand costs savings is important.
This role offers a completive market salary $160K - $180+ with further benefits and access to ongoing professional development.
