• 12 month Fixed Term contract
• Auckland CBD location

Opportunity for a Senior Legal Advisor or a Legal Advisor to join a public sector organisation in the CBD, for a maternity leave cover contract -12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision of credible legal advice and support
• Preparing reports, submissions and opinions
• Researching and presenting legal material

To be successful in this role:

• Senior Legal Advisor -minimum PQ 5 years or Legal Advisor minimum PQ 3 year
• Sound general law experience
• Experience in health care law, human rights or consumer rights will be well regarded 
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Proven ability to manage complex cases
• Proven ability to meet deadlines
