This Tier 2 sized innovative construction company have had over 20 years experience in the Auckland market building several iconic projects. They are known as being nimble, responsive to clients needs and they have built up a quality reputation.
They have a particular apartment project based on the North Shore that requires a site manager to help get it over the line.
There is up to 6 months' work and its for an immediate start.
The role reports to a PM and involves the following:
* Managing the on-site construction team
* Managing sub-contractors
* Driving the construction program
* Managing H&S
* Conduct site inductions
The ideal candidate MUST HAVE the following experience:
* At least 10 years’ experience as a site manager with a commercial construction company
* Appropriate tertiary qualifications such as Construction Management and/or Trade qualifications
* Exceptional communication skills are a must with the ability to manage staff and meet defined outcomes and deliverables
* Strong Construction computer systems and organisational skills$75 - $85 per hour
