Job offer: Senior or Principal Policy Advisor- contract 18 months

• 18 months, 20-30 hours per week
• Auckland City fringe location

Opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal Policy Advisor to join a government Ministry.

This is an hourly rate contract for 18 months, immediate start in thenext 2-3 weeks is ideal.

The role is a senior policy position and the key responsibilities will be:

• Independent advice to senior leaders and Ministers
• Lead special and complex advisory
• Support overall capability of the department
• Drive strategic level policy agenda 
• Provide expert policy advice
• Engagement with senior stakeholders
• Provide strategic decisions and priorities based on analysis, experience and judgement
• Lead the preparation of insightful, timely and well informed policy advice

We are looking for an experienced Principal Policy Advisor or experienced Senior to provide expert policy advice, lead, establish and maintain collaborative relationships and strategic partnerships at senior levels.
