• Wellington Based – Hybrid working

  Our client is a large government organisation and they are embarking on a big data centre migration programme.

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with a strong background in programme level test management on infrastructure projects and ideally experience of moving data centre from on-premises to Azure.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in Test Management within infrastructure projects and ideally data centre migration projects of large scale .
• Essential: Test Management experience with infrastructure platform moves or upgrades.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to create and manage detailed test plans and schedules.
• Expertise in test estimation and resource planning.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with defect and risk management processes.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to engage effectively with multiple teams.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Management: Oversee the entire testing process to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with various stakeholders to align testing activities with project goals.
• Test Planning : Create and manage comprehensive Test Plans and Schedules, ensuring complete test coverage.
• Test Estimation: Accurately estimate the resources and time required for testing activities.
• Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams in accordance with the test plan and schedule.
• Reporting: Provide detailed Test Reporting and Issue Management to keep all parties informed.
• Defect Management: Efficiently manage and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and assist in managing potential risks..
