Job vacancy Senior Test Automation Engineer

We have an awesome opportunity to for a Senior Test Automation Engineer. You will a seasoned professional and use SaFe/Devops methodology to test and implement software solutions. This is a Permanent role based in Wellington, you will be joining a well versed and established team and be given a real opportunity to add value and make your mark.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automated tests for web applications and APIs using JavaScript and TypeScript in a NodeJS environment.
• Utilize Kotlin or Java with Spring Boot or similar frameworks for backend testing.
• Maintain and enhance test frameworks and harnesses to facilitate efficient testing and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage through continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies.
• Containerize applications and test environments using Docker for streamlined testing and deployment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience with modern testing practices and test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, particularly in a NodeJS environment.
• Familiarity with Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot or similar frameworks for backend testing.
• Solid understanding of source control using Git and GitHub.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to containerize applications and test environments using Docker.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure tools such as AWS CDK or CloudFormation
