Job vacancy Senior Software Test Engineer

A permanent opportunity has become available for a Senior Software Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both manual and automated test execution, with a focus on problem diagnosis and detailed reporting. The position requires expertise in test automation development utilizing tools such as Robot Framework, Python, Java, JavaScript, and Selenium. Types of testing covered include functional, performance, scalability, stability, and usability testing. Additionally, the role involves investigating customer-reported issues, collaborating closely with support teams to reproduce and track issues back to their source.

Day to Day tasks include (but not limited to):
 

• Test analysis and design including specification of test cases
• Manual and automated test execution, problem diagnosis, and reporting
• Test automation development using Robot Framework, Python, Java, JavaScript, and Selenium
• Functional, performance, scalability, stability, and usability testing
• Investigation of customer issues, collaborating with support staff, reproducing and tracking to source

Essential:

• Strong test analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Server-side and client-side software product testing on Windows or Linux platforms
• Test automation development
• Python programming
• Agile Scrum or Kanban

Desirable:

Some of the following domain experience is desirable (not essential)

• Network mgmt or similar product development (e.g. IoT, device monitoring, control systems)
• Data communications, network mgmt protocols (NETCONF or SNMP), Telecoms networking (e.g. MPLS or VLAN services).
