Ligar creates imprint polymers that are capable of eliminating both desirable and undesirable elements. Its specially crafted molecules can be used to get rid of agrochemicals and smoke taint from wine, and the company is currently exploring ways to purify food and drinks as well as extract metals. This allows clients to obtain large amounts of Molecularly Imprinted Polymers (MIPs) to remove heavy metals.
