Tumeke Enterprise Ltd was founded by Jay McLaren-Harris as a result of his high school project in the Young Enterprise Scheme. Initially, the business operated as Tumeke Clothing, and its founders Jay McLaren-Harris, Jordan Taylor, Lachlan Poko, and Casey Clark earned two National Excellence Awards in their first year. They also had the opportunity to meet with ministers and MPs, explore international markets, and receive the backing of influential Kiwis. Inspired by the potential to make a greater impact, Jay decided to continue the business after high school and officially registered it as an LLC.

Today, Tumeke Enterprise Ltd is a leader in Disruptive Leadership Development. The organization has achieved many successes since its inception, ranging from meetings with Dr. Lance

O'Sullivan—New Zealander of the Year 2014—and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, to positively impacting the lives of over 3,000 young people from all over the country. Tumeke Enterprise Ltd believes that the future of New Zealand lies in the hands of its youth.
