Blue Marlin and Black Marlin, Broadbill, Tuna, Shark, Kingfish, Kahawai, Snapper, Hapuka/Groper, etc. The harbour is framed with numerous spectacular natural rock formations, including the famous "Duke's Nose", "St Pauls" and "The Taratara's" - all historic walking tracks. There are many hikes in the area.

Just outside the harbour entrance are many Islands, Stevensons Island, and The Cavalli Islands bordering the famous Bay Of Islands.
