Auog - New Zealand

The Auckland Utility Operators Group (AUOG) was formed in early 1997 as an informal working group of five utility members. The reason in forming this group was due to extensive damages caused by civil contractors to the buried assets of utilities, whilst working in the roads and is intended as a tool for contractors to easily contact the right utility organisation to locate underground assets and to ensure prompt advice to the appropriate utility should an asset be damaged.
