Problems encountered:
Plumber damaged the brand new bath tap whilst fitting it. Apology given but he would not replace the item. He had no business insurance.
Plumber failed to seal handbasin waste in a guest bathroom. As a result when the problem was discovered some months later the vanity unit was badly damaged from the leakage, and another plumber was called to fix the problem. The vanity unit remains damaged by water. The damage cannot be seen until the drawer is totally removed, however the damage inside the drawer was what alerted me in the first place.
I would never recommend this man again - it was unfortunate that the builder doing the bathroom renovations selected someone from the phone book that we knew nothing about.
Plumber had been employed for bathroom renovation where original taps were removed and replaced, a new vanity unit and tap installed and a new shower installed. I was never sure what happened while the job was being done but once the plumbing was started I lost the water pressure I had had in an upstairs shower and never regained it, and in the end Alf recommended replacing the upstairs shower mechanism yet there had not been a problem before he started the work.
