I am a postmodernist and therefore believe or better trust in coincidence. In my creations I question the world that surrounds me and try not to take other people’s view as the final truth. By accepting chaos or that there is no specific meaning to anything, encourages me to play with ‘meaning’. My attempt is to find new and more truthful versions of the world. A world where I challenge people but mean no harm. The human condition as a subject matter is a huge undertaking but It gives me the challenge which I always seek.In my artmaking I love playing with words and of course to questioning their meanings. My favorite subject is to bring life to the non existent. By divesting the body or corporeal existence I can explore without fear of being reprimanded for my alternative views of

this world.I practice mark making as a full time vocation and spend most of my days in my studio where I either paint, sculpt or create non-existent beings to make for a better world.Symbolism I used frequentlyDress: disembodiment, freedomBubble: joy and playfulnessStrings: connections, feel of belongingThe typical Modern artist produces a small body of work wrapped in theory. Some even dispense with the work itself and exhibit only their theories, typed up on paper. To me, this seems a sensible economy of style. If the purpose of art is to redefine art, then words should do the trick. There's no use cluttering up the world with redundant examples.Some words of wisdomTechnology may or may not be destiny, but I doubt that machines will replace art any more than wheels have replaced feet. .
