Review of Ropata Medical Centre

I am very disappointed because although my husband and me had separate travel appointments at ropata, when we arrived there was a fire alarm and we had to wait so we waited and we finally got to meet the doctor nearly 1/2 hour after we were initially scheduled.

We were ok with the delay because when a fire alarm goes off it takes time to settle down. However my main disappointment was around billing.

The doctor asked to meet with both of us simultaneously but we were charged separately. This is quite unfair. we were made to wait, we had an appointment simultaneously BUT we were charged separately.

We got delayed because of their alarm (not out fault), there was no apology, the only comfort was that the doc took our appointments simultaneously only to be undone by billing us separately. This is not a positive experience at all. I felt very cheated.

To me it translates as less service for more money. We should have been asked if we wanted to still continue with our individual appointments with the doc. We were not asked that. I think that was rude and insensitive considering that we already had to wait for our appointments for longer than usual because of the fire alarm.

Money does not grow on trees. I should have been given the choice to take my appointment separately if i wanted it and especially if i was going to be charged separately. I will NOT be going to Ropata again. I will also NOT recommend Ropata to my friends.
