Review of Impression Real Estate Mreinz

2.0
My flatmate and I endured two years of constant problems with Impression Real Estate. They were rude, unprofessional and the apartments were quite frankly a rip off. We were good tenants who always paid our rent on time and kept the apartment clean and tidy. Impression Real Estate on the other hand lied and tried to break the Tenancy Act by threatening to evict us on a periodic contract without giving 90 days notice. This was after a misunderstanding about moving dates and an unclear contract. I was recovering from surgery when this occurred and the agent I dealt with was arrogant and made me break down in tears. It wasn't until independent research that I discovered they were breaking the law. This was just one of the many incidences that we experienced with this company. My advice to everyone who wants to use Impressions Real Estate as their agent is to know the Tenancy Act because their agents clearly don’t. On a positive note, the receptionist we dealt with was a delight and should be used as an example as to how the company should be run. With some basic people management skills and by abiding by the Tenancy Act, the company would be a lot nicer to deal with. I hope that Impressions Real Estate improve themselves as I currently wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
