We are looking for an experienced Payroll Consultant to join our client in Auckland, who is a market leader in their industry. You will be processing payroll for global staff, with the majority in NZ and Australia. You will be a skilled Payroll Consultant managing monthly payroll operations and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Process monthly payroll for 100 staff in New Zealand and other overseas staff.
- Bookkeeping & Accounting: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure the accuracy of the invoice system and maintain up-to-date rates.
- Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports as required.
- Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably with the Datacom system.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations in New Zealand and Australia.
- Basic bookkeeping skills, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to learn new systems and overseas payroll regulations.
