My client is looking for an experienced security professional with extensive experience and knowledge in Information Security. This role has been newly created as the organisation goes through a period of change.
Principal Information Security Advisor
In this role, you will lead and develop a number of security initiatives, standards and practices and champion a secure by design mindset. As a leader, you will be responsible for defining and developing the standard for security compliance of ICT systems and services.
You will have:
- 7+ years experience in leading and overseeing security teams or consultants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable presenting to large groups and engaging with senior level stakeholders
- A strong understanding and practical knowledge of government security frameworks such as NIST, NZISM and PSR
- Agile and Waterfall experience as well as a solid understanding of architectural principals, technology patterns, practices and processes as applied in the delivery of fit for purpose enterprise solutions
This is a permanent position located in Wellington. This role does have flexible working arrangements and offers a salary between $130,000 to $190,000 per annum (based on experience) and offers Kiwisaver of 9%.
