Job offer: Senior Communications Advisor

I am seeking an experienced Senior Communcations Advisor who is driven by improving the wellbeing of New Zealanders.

To succeed in this role you will:
 

• Support engagement with kiritaki (clients) to improve access, experience and outcomes, with a focus on kiritaki Māori  
• Varied work programme with a mix of strategic communications, marketing and event support
• Apply your Māori communications expertise in this senior role within a high-performing and supportive team.  

This role will support efforts to improve outcomes for our kiritaki, with a focus on Māori. The role is key to ensuring our kiritaki and whānau are aware of the services available to them.In addition to the above skills, the following would be an advantage: 
 

• Knowledgeable in Māori culture and values 
• Good understanding of te reo Māori me ngā tikanga 
• Existing knowledge and experience in Māori focused communications and channels   
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of Māori and non-Māori audiences 
• Marketing and social media experience would be advantageous as we promote and expand our services across the motu.
