Job offer: Quantity Surveyor-Commercial Developer/Contractor

About the Company:

This is a commercial developer/constructor group has a promising workload ahead of them and are looking to onboard an additional QS shortly.
They have a staged commercial build expansion programme either under construction or in the planning and at consent stages. The team is small, and you will be given the independence and autonomy to run the financials of the projects.

The opportunity:

We are now seeking a self-managing contractor senior quantity surveyor who will be involved in the following:

• Measurement and pricing of cost estimates
• Managing costs throughout construction
• Preparing external claims and processing variations
• Subcontractor account management, contract administration, final account preparation, reporting and cost reconciliation

Preference will be given to those who have:

• Tertiary qualified in quantity surveying
• At least 8+ years working for a main contractor, you could be operating at Int/Senior level or Senior level
• Broad experience in Contract Administration and Estimating functions, experience working with Developers would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivated and a high willingness to learn
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors, consultants and clients

You will be ready for a move and motivated to make an impact.

Remuneration: $130K - $160K pending experience.
