Exciting General Manager New Zealand opportunity in Auckland !

Reporting to the Managing Director, this outstanding opportunity has full accountability for an Auckland manufacturing facility and leading all aspects of business operations including financials/budgets, customer service delivery, operational performance, the continuous improvement agenda and KPI's, people leadership, employee relations and risk and compliance activities.

This role offers the opportunity to be at the helm of a successful and well-established business, you will have the responsibility for creating and executing on strategic plans that drive value and profitability aligned with the organisation's goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Leads and manages across all aspects of business operations
• Manages and optimises financial performance
• Drives to meet objectives and KPI's
• Manage all aspects of facility, equipment, fleet and maintenance
• Responsible for all aspects of people leadership 
• Lead Lean/continuous improvement
• Customer base growth     

We are looking for candidates with the following experience:

• Successful track record as an operations leader in manufacturing
• Experience driving compliance in a regulated environment
• Leadership and stakeholder management experience in a customer focussed organisation
• Exceeding targets through process and culture change
• Demonstrated experience with managing financials
• Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and/or six sigma and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
