Job offer: Database Administrator

• 6 month contract
• Wellington locations – Hybrid working

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator with extensive experience in database encryption and compliance.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing secure data solutions that align with stringent compliance requirements.

You will work with distributed databases across on-premises and Azure environments, ensuring that encryption is applied effectively at various levels.

An ideal applicant will have the following skills:

• Proven experience with SQL encryption at various levels.
• Strong expertise in SSIS and SSRS.
• Deep understanding of compliance requirements related to data security.
• Experience with distributed database environments, particularly across on-premises and Azure.
• Ability to develop PoCs in collaboration with infrastructure teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to ask the right questions to ensure compliance is integrated into design.

You must be in New Zealand with the legal right to work.
