Job offer: Estimator - Density Residential

The Company

This is a well-recognised density residential builder with a long-standing history and a brand recognised for their highest quality in design. They are large players in the market, especially Auckland and have contracts with Kainga Ora and private developers but also, they work with clients in Design and Build with plenty of opportunities to price. 

The Role

Working within a team and reporting to the Estimating Manager, the role largely involves preparing tenders/full estimate on multi-unit medium-high density developments, including civils & earthworks

Key background below:

• 6 + years of residential estimating experience within density residential, knowledge of walk-ups/apartments in addition to terraced housing preferred.
• Tertiary qualified with a Diploma/Bachelors degree in CM/QSing
• Top communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
• Strong financial nous, excellent pricing systems skills, high attention to detail
• Strong understanding and knowledge of various Building Estimating and Management Software
• Deadline driven
