About the company:
My client is a large Financial Services provider based in Auckland CBD. This is a great opportunity for an SAP FI/CO expert to get into the Financial Services sector. My client is going through a number of enterprise system improvements in particular the integration of source systems into SAP ECC6.

About the role:
This role will involve testing interfaces which post financial transactions into the financial modules of SAP. Sound knowledge of the financial modules of SAP will be required and you must have had experience testing interfaces and integration programs which post financial transactions. However, no SAP configuration will be expected in this role. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract and we are ideally looking for someone available to start as soon as possible.

You will need to be someone able to hit the ground running. You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience supporting finance systems, and intermediate to advanced SAP knowledge. You will either be an SAP FI/CO Consultant looking for a support position with an end user of SAP or you will be a Finance Systems Specialist with a lot of SAP Financials experience.

Duties:

• Testing of processes and systems.

• Extract and correct data files.

• Identify and document process changes.

• Setup of detailed test plans for unit and SIT testing.

• Perform unit and SIT testing of integrations into SAP.

• Perform testing of impacted transactions within SAP.

• Perform unit and SIT testing of SAP outbound extracts.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Assist with cutover plan and execution.

Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 5+ years' experience supporting Finance Systems, preferably in the financial services industry.

• Proven experience in SAP FI/CO module.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Experience in Unit and SIT testing in SAP including defining test plans.

• Experience in master data and systems change management.

• Strong relationship and communication skills.

• Ideally CA qualified.

• Relevant SAP systems certification.
