The Company

My client is a subsidiary of a large US listed multinational with operations around the globe. The subsidiary business operates in the IT sector in a niche space in the market and is seeing considerable growth. Going through a period of change, they are looking for a technically strong Finance Manager to join the business for an initial 6-month period

The Role

The role of Financial Manager will report directly to the Head of Finance based in the UK. You will have responsibility for the NZ Finance team, which comprises 5 staff but also have the support of an experienced NZ based Finance Business partner. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly financial statements and commentary within, ensuring accurate loading into the US Financial reporting systems
• Preparation of the Annual Financial statements, ensuring revenue recognition in accordance with US & local GAAP requirements
• IFRS reporting
• Ensure workpapers are complete to meet SOX requirements
• Staff management of a team of five, coaching & developing
• Ensure the effectiveness of the ERP systems & control environment
• Manage the capitalisation process, given the nature of the business
• Other ad hoc duties as required.
