About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position working largely across our Enterprise customers. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Architect - Storage & Backup to join our dynamic team.

What you'll do for us

• Analyse business requirements and design storage architectures that meet customer needs.
• Implement and manage storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.
• Evaluate and select storage hardware and software vendors.
• Stay updated on emerging storage and backup technologies and industry trends.
• Assess current storage capacity and plan for scalability.
• Optimize storage systems for performance and cost-effectiveness.

What you'll bring in your Kit bag

• At least ten years IT industry experience.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with a variety of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, DAS, and cloud storage solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in evaluating and selecting storage hardware and software vendors based on performance, reliability, and cost considerations.
• Hands-on experience implementing and managing data protection strategies, including backup, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements related to data storage and security.
• Certifications from major storage technology vendors (e.g., EMC, NetApp, HPE) and relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
