Common Ledger - New Zealand

In April 2013, Drew saw an opportunity to create a 'common ledger' to translate Point of Sale data into one format. Drew realized the same data also had to be sent to accounting systems of various Point of Sale software. Drew and Vince, a client from a digital media agency, built a strong relationship that went beyond their professional ties. With Vince's expertise, Brendan, a chartered accountant, joined Drew and Vince to add his industry knowledge, number crunching, and strategy. Finally, Carlos Chambers was welcomed to the team with his operations, legal, and commercial skills. Together, they created something many businesses and accountants needed, providing a solution to a problem they were unable to solve.
