Pastoral Robotics - New Zealand

Pastoral Robotics is a company that specializes in technologies for detection, treatment, and precision farming tasks. They have developed the software and hardware for a small 4WD robot vehicle that can travel pre-programmed paths on individual farm paddocks with a high degree of accuracy in location. Unfortunately, the robot was not robust enough to handle New Zealand dairy farm conditions. To address this issue, a joint project between Pastoral Robotics and Massey University's Engineering School (Albany campus) has been initiated to design and construct a more powerful, robust, and fully-autonomous vehicle, called Mini-ME®.
