Medlab - Feilding - New Zealand

Medlab Central Limited is based in the central North Island of New Zealand. There are 4 centres in the group: Hawkes Bay, Gisborne, Palmerston North, and Wanganui.


The Palmerston North, Gisborne and Wanganui laboratories are located in their respective local public hospitals, and provide laboratory services to both community and hosptial patients. Palmerston North hospital is also the regional referral centre for oncology patients in the lower central North Island.

There are a total of 7 full-time and part-time Pathologists in the Medlab Central group, comprising 3 Histopathologists, 2 Haematologists, 1 Microbiologist, and 1 Chemical Pathologist. We also have 4 Pathology Registrars. There are over 350 staff members in the laboratory group (including part-time staff).
