Utterly disappointed in the fact that we trusted the salesman, Bart Merrill, who convinced us of the possitivity of selling through Chase Manhattan. After paying the large advertising fee of $6600.00 we were very confident that they would endeavour to sell our business very quickly due to the fact that I have a terminal illness and Bart Merrill assurred us that would happen. However, after 9 months, nothing! We tried to contact both Bart Merrill and Chase Manhattan from two months ago and again nothing! We tried the office in every state but no return calls or contact by email. We even had a buyer contact re purchasing our business but they did not return his calls either, so we have come to believe we have been duped and have lost our hard earned money. They are obviously expert at tricking people out of their money so be aware as they come across as caring and very professional. stay well away from Chase Manhattan Business Brokers.
