Kirtlan Engineering was established in 1962 and remains a family owned and operated business, employing between five and ten full time highly experienced team members based on project demands. We are proud to serve the entire North Island and to have served tens of thousands of highly satisfied clients in the life of our business.

Today, the business is led by Brent Kirtlan, who brings 35 years of experience to the team and specialises in stainless steel and customer satisfaction. Brent qualified as a heating and ventilating engineer before diversifying into general engineering and steel fabrication.

The Kirtlan Engineering team includes our Foreman who has been with the company for 50 years, our Leading Hand (17 years) and Trade’s Assistant (30 years).

We have been supplying the commercial sector for the past fifty years in varying ways from structural steel on site, to stainless lift fronts, handrails, safety railing, downpipe protectors, galvanised bollards, stainless steel bollards, ballustrade’s, gates.

Kirtlan Engineering offers a comphrensive service from detailing thru to site installation and each project is handled with high level of communication between both parties and is tailored to each individual companies requirements.

Having owned a number of houses himself Brent Kirtlan MD knows how stressful and sensitive things can be when building a new home and prides himself on going the extra mile.

Having been a supplier for 50 years for many Auckland builders Kirtlan Engineering has experience in working with both Architects as well as the home owner.

We supply varying types of pool fencing, small structural beams, flinch plates, ballustrades and handrails, entry gates, pedestrian gates and anything you need in steel for your home.

Being a smaller entity we can, and do, go outside the square for you and tailor requirements to meet each and every project individually.
