Lake Waihola Holiday Park - New Zealand

I checked earlier today and inquired about all the bugs in the air. The lady at reception told me that they were "lake flies" that only show up twice a year and they don't bite. Fair enough.

I drove to my campsite which was dodgy at best. I cracked the window to put the extension cord out and plug in. Within a minute there were a dozen bugs in my campervan. I went to reception and was confronte by a man who merely pointed at the "no refunds" sign. I asked him if he was kidding. I had been at the park less than five minutes. He was a total jerk and said he couldn't do anything about mother nature. Do no patronize these jerks. They kept my money.
