About the company:
Our client is an award-winning New Zealand-wide cleaning franchise business serving more than 1800 clients, 140 franchise owners, and with franchises running in all major centres including Auckland, Tauranga, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin.

About the role:
Your role will be to make sure franchisee owners comply with all franchise policies and that they are using proven best practices to ensure efficiency and quality. You will play a key role in supporting and coaching franchisee owners, providing guidelines and frameworks for them, and ensuring each franchisee maintains quality and is compliant. This is primarily an office-based role and you will be communicating a lot with franchisee owners on the phone and via email.

Duties

• Reviewing the recruitment process and initiate franchise agreements.
• Manage the renewal of franchise agreements.
• Ensure the franchisee’s accounting system and reporting is compliant.
• Ensure the franchisee is GST, Income Tax, ACC levy, and Insurances compliant.
• Ensure franchisee’s payroll system and process is compliant.
• Conduct regular employment audits including payslips.

Skills & Experience:

• Communicate at all levels with people of diverse cultural ethnicities.
• Good business acumen.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Franchise experience preferred.
• Excellent business administration skills using DocuSign, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Business accounting and payroll (MYOB & Xero) knowledge.
• Tax and employment legislation knowledge.
• Excellent at following up information in a timely manner.
